Use the test tools to verify the correct operation of a content creation product that supports Dolby Digital Plus in online delivery formats.

Stream demuxer

This tool demultiplexes the Dolby codec streams specified in manifest files (MPD for MPEG-DASH, playlist for HLS ) or media files (MP4, fragmented MP4). This tool is provided in Microsoft Windows 64-bit binary form, Linux 64-bit binary form, CentOS 64-bit binary form, and Apple Mac OS X binary form. It must be downloaded to your local disk to run.

Stream validator

This online tool checks container and manifest files to validate that a content creation product can properly multiplex Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams into online delivery formats (such as MP4, MPEG-DASH and HLS).

mp4_inspector

This online tool outputs an ISO base media file format file (such as MP4 and MPEG-DASH) to human-readable XML format.
