Media Presentation Description

A manifest used in MPEG Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (MPEG-DASH) to describe the available streaming content, its various alternatives, URL addresses, and other characteristics, as well as segments that contain the actual multimedia bitstreams in the form of chunks, in single or multiple files.
